They are cute socks, I'd totally buy those if I saw them in a store. Especially if they come in assorted colors. :) Remember - if you ask six different people what they think of your art you will end up with fourteen different opinions. ;-)
Lady, I knew IMMEDIATELY that it was a fancy sock on a foot slid into a mule. Very nicely done. Also, thank you for not doing toes. I was scared when I started scrolling that there would be toes. Toes are gross.
I had to screenshot them both so that I could look at them side by side to see the differences. Honestly though, my reaction upon seeing the first one was, "What cute socks! I would totally wear those!"
I could never get my big flat feet into those types of shoes. My husband affectionately calls them, "flesh paddles." Also I'm five foot nine so wearing even kitten heels makes me feel like a giraffe on stilts.
Tell Victor not to be so judgey about ankles. Some of us have thicker ones! I love both drawings, even though I relate more to the first ankle. love you back, jenny
I thought it was just the perfect salutation for last week.
HELL, FRIEND
(Was the R in the 2nd word intentional?)
serendipity strikes as I come to comment and the first person I see is you :D (also known as Danielle Shuping everywhere else)
It could go both ways, really.
I, personally, think that "HELL, FRIEND!" should be our Super Secret Substack Greeting.
So, HELL, FRIEND!
Oh, I love this.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
::::clears throat and attempts to look normal::::
I am flattered.
I thought it was a tossup as to whether it was a mistake or deliberate. Then I decided, "Works either way."

I recognized it as a foot immediately. It seems like an appropriate foot for Hell Friend. How you doing?
I saw the sock right away. And the foot was perfect as it was because nobody has perfect feet and ankles.
For what it’s worth, I immediately saw that it was a mule with a patterned sock in the first version — never occurred to me it might be a boot!
Hell yeah, that foot is awesome, friend! ❤️💞
It's lovely!

The first one says, "This shoe is too small!" or "My foot is too big!" and also reminds me of foot binding stories. So there is that too.
I thought it was a Victorian boot at first too, but I do see it's a foot in a fancy sock in a mule.
By the way, I super crazy love you too.

What I want to know is where this dame gets her socks because I need those!
You’re such a gift to the world!!
