Why is it that whenever I see a baby or a puppy yawn my heart melts and I feel all warm inside watching them sigh deeply and surrendering to sleep…but when I feel exhausted it comes with feelings of guilt or defeat? Why do we whisper sweetly and take pictures when Hunter S. Thomcat is asleep in a sunbeam on the kitchen floor, but it’s “weird and a trip hazard” when I sprawl out next him after a particularly carby lunch?
No more guilt. Naps are now adorable for all of us. Resting is fine for everyone. Encouraged, even. This includes you.
