This is a weird one.

I was supposed to share a drawing yesterday but I didn’t because I turned in the first draft of my next book (ACTUALLY ON TIME! If you don’t count the 6-month-extension I got) and so to celebrate we went to California for a few days and turns out that drawing with a pen is incredibly unforgiving when you’re flying through turbulence. So instead I worked with pencil, which is not a medium I feel competent at but has the advantage of erasers and finger smudges that might be mistaken for artistic instead of just messy. And when I finished my sketch I wanted to throw it away because it didn’t look right, but Hailey said I should share it here because they liked it. So if you hate it, it’s all Hailey’s fault…and if you like it then I will owe them a taco.
