Sometimes you just need a tiny rabbit in a tiny hole reading tiny books.

This week I was struggling a little and thought I’d draw the personification of anxiety, and so I sketched out a monster lurking in the dark and frozen woods, but then I was like, “NOPE. Fuck this. No more monsters this week. REFOCUS, WEIRDO.”

And so instead I drew a tree house and put a tiny rabbit in a tiny chair and gave her a tiny library and a tiny glass of whiskey. And then I drew her tiny visitor bunnies, but he looked too content to be interrupted so I hid those visitors with bushes that I thought would look fine, but now sort of look like large amoebas made of fangs. And that’s not really what I was aiming at, but instead of getting upset about ruining the whole thing I decided to lean in to the idea that maybe the bushes are giant amoebas with fangs but that they’re friends of the bunny and are guarding her from anyone wanting to spoil the ending or tell her to stop reading and get some work done.

Anyway, I’m wishing you love, and fanged amoebas that are 100% on your side.
