I didn’t have as much time to work on drawing this week because I’ve been busy with lots of medical tests and assorted anxieties (more on that in the future, but not today) but this one poured out of me and helped me to remember that even the scariest things cannot stop joy.
Surprises in the shadows. Perfect. The tonal semi-Japanese emblem reminds me of a cherished saying, "My barn having burned to the ground, I can now see the moon." And here it is! Cheers to you.
I can’t begin to tell you how your posts/drawings have brightened my life. You always have such poignant thoughts and often it’s exactly what I’m needing at the time. Thank you for being you. Big hugs!
Thank you for sharing today. I was feeling down after an update from my neurologist and putting off a day of imaging I absolutely fear and abhor. Enduring, outlasting & fighting.
You are so super talented. As a Gospel song says - We Still Have Joy. Throught the tears, and through the pain. Hold it tight - no matter how small it feels at this time.
I miss B/W film that I could develop myself and then play with. I think many of the same effects are possible by switching the camera to B/W as you have shown us.
Thank you so much for giving us the size context of your original! Your work is so good. I sympathize with what you're going through, and I love that you share it with us. Shared pain is divided, shared joy is multiplied. (The "Callahan's Cross-Time Saloon series. A must-read.) Always remember: this, too, shall pass. Super-crazy love you, too!

I have to remind myself to look in those shadows too. Thank you as always for the beautiful drawings and sentiments. Xoxo
You are an incredible human being. Thanks for being here ♡
The drawing, the email, the photography - all perfect just as they are. Like you. May the joy return to you soon, lovely Jenny.

I really, really needed that right now. How did you know?

Thank you for this reminder, Jenny. I am going through a divorce that I have no desire for, and it’s been rough.
Your wisdom never fails to surprise and delight me.
I love the stormy vibe; there's something about intense grey skies and gusts of wind that can lead to possible epiphanies... or is that just me?
Anyway, lovely and true and lots of love your way! 🌻🌈💜
