Ok, so what I'm hearing is that we each get to have our own wolf, which means that that there forest will now have an entire pack of wolves in it. And if I know anything about the folks who hang out here, it's going to be the raddest pack of wolves that ever assembled in the Dark Forest. I am totally up for that. My wolf is named Fred. He appreciates the champagne and nachos and will bring along a nice bottle of whisky to complement his secret-recipe potato skins. See you among the trees!

The wolf is an introvert and he's kind of tired of people-ing so he's way in the back, lurking in case the treats or the company may be worth coming out for afterall. :)

Why does the wolf have a monocle?

As soon as I read this, I saw him with a battered top hat, also!

But Jenny, that Raven is a changeling. It is just waiting for us to come with our chairs and a chair for it and then it is going to turn into a wolf and ask for a cup of my special Chai tea with a heavy shot of Buttershots liquer and a shot of Muddy River Spiced Rum. And we'll all eat tea cakes and cake cake and pie and talk about the things we love because we need joy.

It is. I add a splash of almond milk and either Skinny Mixes Salted Carmel or Honey. 😉

I would love to be in these woods hanging out with a wolf and feeding him nachos. I imagine we’re besties and we travel through these woods often. And the crow tells us secrets in exchange for the little metal dohickey that holds down the cork on the bottle. ❤️

I love the idea of a wolf meeting us in a comfy spot for champagne and nachos. I can see it!

I love your drawing and your description! I'd like an invisible wolf. I wouldn't know it was there until something warm and furry brushed up against me, then licked my face. 🐺

Wolf is in the interstices of the drawing (is that the right word? It's the one that came). Your power is in your honesty and I always feel uplifted by your posts and drawing and thoughts. 🙏

What would you put on wolf nachos? Instead of cheese and jalapenos, maybe chopped chicken liver?

And then we can sit around and discuss literature. It would be like having a room of one's own.

It was so easy for me to see the black wolf slinking off through the trees with a teacup in his mouth…

I love this. I need to go for a walk in the woods, but a) it's pouring rain and b) I wrenched my back something fierce. But the second I can, I'll go say Hi to the wolf.

Showing up is the thing. Being brave to share is the hero thing. You didn’t need to be a hero. We were here for you all along. We are your coven, we are your soft place to land. Never ever forget that.

Okay, I’ll try this one more time…I picture the wolf sitting in a recliner wearing a brocaded smoking jacket”smoking jacket” (the wolf not the recliner). He’s wearing those little frameless half glasses perched on the end of his snout. As he sees us walking through the woods, he looks over the glasses and says, “Hey! You guys seen some little kid wearing a red hood? I’m supposed to meet up with her, but the time got away from me!”

My wolf is a white one called Minerva and she's mad about champagne 🍾 and very happy to hear Fred is bringing potato skins which she much prefers to nachos!
