While I saw a beautifully detailed doubly doubled dahlia, I’m now compelled to congratulate you on your stunning rendition of an actual tongue lashing.

😂 This was hilarious. I can picture you running down the street and the guy staring at your picture. Also, I can tell that’s not tongues. 👅

I made a runner for my table with red fabric with white round flowers with yellow centers. Husband said it looks like fried eggs. I can’t unsee it! Petals, not tongues!

Clearly, those are tongues. I shall print it out and color it in many shades of pink. Yes. 👅

I thought from the title it might be some kind of Pentecostal-congregation sketch w/ sound effects...

The power of words, even if unintentional! 🌻

Anything can look like anything from the right perspective 😅 I like the way your kid thinks, even if they threw you into a new direction in thinking!

I totally see a flower 🌼

Thank you for sharing, and making the world seem a less lonely place atm 💜

😀 your kid must be very clever. I see petals, but in fact, they could be tongues

I didn't see tongues until you mentioned it. But now I do, and now I think it is the most appropriate thing in the world today. We need tongues, wagging, raging, yelling, sticking out, and making our outrage heard! The more tongues the better! (Sorry scotus - I refuse to capitalize - has me a tad worked up this week.)

This has me giggling…the thoughts children plant in our minds. I love how the imaginations run wild and free. It's a gorgeous mass of petals and equally stunning should tongues be seen. Maybe those tongues clamouring to have a voice. Maybe those tongues simply showcase this flowers beauty without having to say a word. Beautiful artistry.
